My brightness on my Windows 11 Asus VivoBook isn't working

The brightness keys aren't doing anything, like the thing that shows the brightness changing isn't popping up. It's working for the other buttons just not the brightness. The volume and everything else is working. I tried updating my computer, didn't do anything. I went in settings and tried changing the brightness there, it didn't change. I tried disabling auto-brightness, didn't do anything. I tried going to the Action Center, the brightness isn't there. The volume is there, but not the brightness. I tried going to the System Files to see if there was a bug or something. nothing happened. I
