Guest AKM Posted October 11, 2008 Posted October 11, 2008 Is there a shortcut to enter password on Welcome Screen and/or to Unlock Computer (to bring on the screen to enter password)? If so, please respond. I know a person with only one hand that can use this information. Many thanks.

Guest ju.c Posted October 12, 2008 Posted October 12, 2008 Re: Shortcut for Ctrl+Alt+Del Nope. Ctrl+Alt+Del is for security reasons. Maybe the other combo, Ctrl+Shift+Esc will work. It can be done with one hand. I've never tried it though, so if you do try it, please tell me if it works. ju.c "AKM" <AKM@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:E5CE35D2-89D3-4553-969B-7D1D8B546F04@microsoft.com... > Is there a shortcut to enter password on Welcome Screen and/or to Unlock > Computer (to bring on the screen to enter password)? > > If so, please respond. Amongst other things they let single-handed people apply concurrent keystrokes in a sequential fashion, e.g. Ctrl, then Alt, then Del.
