Settings icons are red rather than blue

I am helping a Windows 11 Home (23H2) user where the various Windows settings icons are showing in red rather than blue. This happened quite suddenly with any (known) user interaction.For example, in the partial screen shot below, on the target machine the background to Check for Updates along with the Get Latest Updates switch is bright red rather than the usual blue depicted here.This colour change is widespread among the various Windows settings.Help would be appreciated.
