windows 11 How can i make my mic stop hearing the background of my computer

Hello ive been tring to talk into my computers microphone yet when i do, i just hear loud echoes of my computers background like if i play a video on youtube all it does it will play and start echoing ste same for when im in a video game with sounds on i speak into mic i hear mysef than a sound from a video game and echoing, very loud echoing i tried everything yet nothing works it just wont play
