I've attempted to install the "2024-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5044384)," but the update remains pending even after a restart. Despite multiple restarts, the update continues to appear in Windows Update, requiring a restart. I'm seeking assistance to remove this persistent update from Windows Update following a laptop restart. I've also tried manually downloading and installing the update, but this resulted in an error message stating that the update is already installed.
