Activation Help needed!

Activation Help needed! Recent hardware change, new motherboard which is up and running. I get a windows sign-in options screen; the pin is no longer valid due to the hardware change so I elect to sign in with a password. The response I get is "Password is incorrect. Try Again.", no other options. I can see my device in my windows account when I sign in from another computer so I know the password still works... I can not access Startup, Activation, troubleshooter, or any other tools. Any suggestions welcome.
