A client got the following error imaged below after applying KB5042562 , (blocking rollback of Virtualization-based Security (VBS) related security updates). This resulted in the up-to-date recovery environment failing to load, and even safemode failed to load with the same error below. This rare problem I believe was the result of modifications or the rebuilding of BCD using third party applications.The solution was to 1. Disable secure boot in the BIOS2. Boot into windows, temporarily disable the applied VBS mitigations with the powershell command here (link), 3. Reboot into windows to ensu
