Personal Folder not showing in File Explorer's Quick Access area

Bizarrely (to me at least) the Personal Folder doesn't show up in File Explorer's Quick Access area. If I drag it from the Desktop to the Quick Access area, nothing happens. Is this a bug, by design or am I being thick? Any help much appreciated!
