Guest Jim Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Hello all, I have a client who is experiencing problems synchronizing a large amount of data (approx 60GB) from a network share using offline files (on Windows XP clients) - effectively the synchronization looks like it has completed, but when disconnecting the PC from the network the majority of the files are not there (and the files are indeed shown as not being synch'd in the Offline Files Folder). The files in question are predominantly word / excel Office documents (i.e. supported file types) so the problem appears to be size related. We have implemented a GPO on the Server (SBS 2003 Std) to ensure that both the 'Default Cache Size' on the client is in excess of the volume of data, and that 'subfolders are always available offline when a folder is made available for offline use'. However neither policy has had any effect. If anyone can shed any light on this issue it would be most appreciated. Thankyou.
