I want to change the PIN I use to sign-in to Windows, but get the message "this option is currently unavailable"

Currently, I mostly sign-in to Windows 11 on my Surface Laptop 3 by using facial recognition (Windows Hello). Alternatively, when this doesn't work, I can use a PIN that I chose when I first bought my laptop to sign-in instead (as well as the usual alternative of recovering my Windows account by signing-on via my online Microsoft account). I'd like to change this PIN, but when I go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > PIN (Windows Hello), there is a message underneath this saying "this option is currently unavailable". How can I change my PIN? Is it possible to make this an pass
