Can't Connect to My Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter.

I'm in the process of trying to use my wireless display adapter. It is not connected to WIFI currently since I can't make it connect to it. That option does not come on through the "wireless display adapter" app. It is grayed out. I've tried installing, reinstalling, restarting, updating an nothing. I can't connect my adapter to wifi. I can't make the options on the app come on. it just gives me instructions on how to connect pressing the windows key and K. Nothing else. Please help.I am using windows 11 on surface proadapter version is V3.9520.39Everything seems to be up to date, what am I do
