Bluetooth headphones aren't connected, but my PC says they are.

To summarize, I have BT headphones(sadly i forgot which company theyre from), and they work great. Although when I tried to pair them with my laptop(ASUS) they don't connect. My PC says they are connected, but I don't hear the classic "Connected" that usually comes from my headphones. They still work great with my mobile device though and I don't get the problem. I've already tried uninstalling bluetooth yet it's still the same. The headphones also act like they haven't been connected to the PC.
