Automatic rotation missing after 24H2

I recently updated my Surface Book 2 to 24H2 and for some reason I cannot automatically rotate my display anymore (which for a PC in tablet mode is .... questionable ...). Instead, I may now choose a fixed rotation from a drop down menu under settings->system->display->scale&layout. Am I just incapable of finding the setting (tried to search for "rotate" and similar keywords aswell), or was this feature actually removed by microsoft??
