Salt & Sanctuary not launching from both Epic Games and Steam

I haven't played this game in a while and wanted to come back to it, but when I tried to launch it on Epic Games it says that an error has occured. I bought the game on Steam because I thought something was wrong with the Epic Games client itself and when I tried to launch the game on Steam, another error showed up. I tried updating GPU drivers and installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 for x86 because it was said in a reddit post that that's supposed to fix the issue on Epic Games but it didn't fix the issue im having. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
