Colour profile reverts back to old 'default' settings after laptop boots up

I have calibrated my screen using a ColorVision colour management profile, which loads the profile automatically when the computer is started. Shortly after the laptop boots up and shows the desktop and icons, a message appears saying that the profile has been loaded into the video card. You can see the screen colours change as the new profile is loaded by the ColorVision software.After 20 seconds the screen reverts back to the default colour profile supplied with Windows.
