How to change what downloads go into what user download destination

So I have two users on my laptop. Both users are me but one is used for my personal stuff and the other is used for school stuff. Each user has their own download file/destination but now every time I download something it automatically goes into the download destination for my school user. I would prefer my downloads when I'm using my personal account to go into my personal user's download destination and not my school one. I only want my downloads to go into the school user download destination if I'm logged onto it. Is this possible?
