Forgot windows PIN and no option to reset it

Hello, I’m gifting my old PC to a family member. Always entered the PIN from muscle memory, but seem to have lost it since I hadn’t entered it for a long time. There is no option to reset my PIN; I have to restart the pc and enter a code everytime I get it wrong. What could be done? I don’t necessarily need to access the old account as I have everything on my new PC, so just creating a new user or wiping everything from the PC outside of windows would be also good.
