ive got an external ssd, i downloaded steam onto it, it wont open, i downloaded a game onto it, it also wont open, files do, but they dont, is there a

ive tried to change the letter, i tried to reformat it, i copied the files over from my normal ssd, tried to open them, and they either dont open, or corrupt themselves
