How do I activate a new instance of windows (with separate license) on a new PC, after cloning harddrive to new ssd?

Hi so basically I have built my girlfriend a pc, and I have cloned my hdd (operating system/windows) to her clean ssd.So both of our computers are running on one windows license currently. I would like to purchase a new license for her, instead of running a cloned version of mine.I am unsure of how to go about doing this. Is it possible to do a fresh install of windows and then input a license key during the process? The information i have found online so far is for people moving their license to a new device. But i want to activate a new license on a device currently running on a cloned syste
