Phone link (to windows) seems to mean perpetual problems

Hi,I have previously had some issues with MS phone link, however these sorted themselves out.NOW, when my PC insisted on a password rather than the normal PIN (without any reason), I had to change my microsoft account password.Phone link also showed a problem regarding the phone, which I corrected (settings issue).Now when I click to start phone link, it starts and then terminates with 2 secs.Add/remove windows function (perhaps) to remove and readd?What would be the best way forward?Appreciate any advise/suggestions.regards
