Plastic Nev Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Hi Lukemac47 and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help. Has it ever worked and started correctly, or is it like this from new? If it did start up OK, is there anything you can think of, that you did prior to the problem starting? If it will start in and run in safe mode, have you tried a system restore back to when it did run OK? Nev. Quote Need help with your computer problems? Then why not join Free PC Help. Register here. Lukemac47 Posted July 7, 2012 Author Posted July 7, 2012 Hi nev No never worked! Tried a system restore to factory settings in safe mode but no luck! If no advice fixes it its going for a repair along with a complaint! Thanks, Luke Quote
Plastic Nev Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 That is actually my next advice as the machine should be covered by its warranty, so yes do take it back and complain. If there is any comment made regarding software not being covered, the operating system should be, considering it has never actually started, as it will not have been activated or validated. Nev. KenB Posted July 7, 2012 Posted July 7, 2012 No never worked! It goes straight back to where you bought it. Tell them it has been like this - out of the box - and you want a replacement NOT a repair. It is not fit for purpose. Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !! MiniToolBoxNetwork TestWireless Test
