OneDrive backup messed up my computer and I am unable to undo the changes.

I got a prompt asking if I want to backup my files to OneDrive. I thought it was a good idea and said yes. Well, that was a mistake.Windows took all of the files for backup from my secondary drive (D) and dumped them onto my primary ©, which doesn't have enough space for all of them as it is my boot drive. That drive © is now full, and my computer is running very slowly. Every time I try to move the folder location back to D, I get an error message.How can I undo this screwup?
