After shuting down, I can't sign in

I use a laptop of my son who is the administrator. Later I have my own Microsoft account. Each time when the laptop shut down after the update, it prevents me to sign in. I was waiting to at least several hours in order before I can sign in. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
