RE: ntdll.dll error windows xp home programs close

Windows XP Pro SP2: Explorer.exe windows keep crashing even when not actively

in them. The Explorer.exe window is open in the background and it will

randomly crash. The screen goes blank for a second and the task bar and start

button disappear then come back.

Description:

Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.3156, faulting module

ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault address 0x00018fea

I ran sfc /scannow to restore all invalid system files (No help)

I ran REGSVR32 NTDLL.DLL but got the error (RegSvr32 Ntdll.dll was loaded,

but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file can not be

registered.)

I have uninstalled Acrobat 8 and installed Acrobat 9. The problem seemed to

go away but appeared again just a little while ago.

I'm certain the Fix is a corrupt Context Menu handler. If I could find it

and delete it from the registry, it may work.
