I have a user that has a "roaming profile" which he can basically go

to any computer and log in. Works great! issue is that the icons on

his desktop he can't move around. I have tried making sure his

settings are not to put them in date order, snap to grid or anything

like that and the settings dont stay. They change back to the grid

layout. How can I fix this?

Re: Roaming profile

Anyone? It seems this is a preference file / setting? Again this is

by right clicking on desktop and highlighting arrange icons by,

whatever the user chooses does not stick. Any reason? Thoughts?

Try to delete ntuser.dat. sounds like your profile is corrupted. This should fix the issue.

good luck!
