windows 10 when I open the game my resolution changes to native(60hz) and I can't change to custom res(80hz)

i created custom resolution in nvidia control panel to have 80hz and games detected it but now games doesnt detect 80hz but only 60hz which is my native resolution.it keeps changing to native 60hz only in games the only way to have 80hz in game is to play borderless fullscreen which gives input lag and fps drops its very noticable in fps games like valorant. i tried different cables,i checked hz every where (display,nvidia etc.) and it happened 2 days ago and i have this monitor for like 10 months and everything worked fine.
