Shortcut key in VBS file

I have on my desktop a VBS file, written in notepad.exe which puts my user

name on any page when I touch the shortcut keys.

 

Unfortunately, I cannot access the shortcut key area under properties when I

right click the desktop program, then scroll to properties...bringing up a

"shortcut key" box.

 

HOWEVER, I DO NOT SEEM TO POSSESS THE KNOW-HOW ON CHANGING THE SHORTCUT KEY.

 

I cannot seem to access the shortcut key...as when I go to properties from

mt desktop, and right-clicking the program...then...properties...I get

 

" + + " in the shortcut key box,,,I cannot seem to be able to change it??

 

Can SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?
