I have a local device on my network that I was trying to have send data to a simple server on my laptop. Windows Defender is blocking this communication. When I turn off public network protection communication works. My understanding is 192.168 devices are considered to be on the private network? Why would disabling the public network firewall allow this to work?As a follow-up question I have also tried adding public and private both inbound and outbound rules to try and free up communication while still having the the global public firewall on. Unfortunately this does not work.See the follow
