I have tried many of the solutions online and I cannot figure it out. It's not the HDMI cable, as the external monitor is detected. It is the laptop monitor itself that goes undetected. If I disconnect the external monitor, the laptop internal monitor works just fine. I"m not able to select the laptop monitor as the main one once I connect to a secondary one. I need 2 monitors to work. The laptop only has one HDMI connection, but it's not the connection, as it recognizes the external monitor well. The drivers are all up to date, I ran all types of tests on the laptop and they all pass... wind
