Guest CrazyComputerMan Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 How do you uninstall Norton?, Did you use Norton Removal Tool? Quote
RandyL Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Hi everyone; The Norton Removal Tool might expunge the registry keys needed to correct this. Be warned though it's usually best to run it on failed uninstallations only. I personally have seen the tool corrupt other things. Uninstalling Norton can be tricky and has to be done in the correct order as even the basic antivirus program has two entries in add/remove. Even if it does work there might be a problem with the online registration if the key is in use. Not sure though. I have found Norton to be most helpful with these kind of issues. Probably the safest bet. Take care everyone; RandyL Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else.
