Hi

Have a look here: http://www.medion.com/gb/service/download/driver.php

I can't seem to find your pc in the list.

Is it onboard soundcard? if yes what motherboard does it have?

You could try looking at 'MEDION UK CONTACT' and send an e mail question, they may help. If push comes to shove you could fit a new sound card approx £5 on a well known site.

A friend of mine had a simular problem with his MEDION pc after an upgrade OS this is what we found. ---The sound was SIS7012 which in turn was AC'97. This sounds good but I don't have a clue. Having found it on the internet, loaded it onto a disc and went through the device manager to reinstall the driver and yes! it worked - we have lift off and sound.

''He bought his PC from PC WORLD so look at their site for drivers.''
