maynardvdm Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Hi Have a look here: http://www.medion.com/gb/service/download/driver.php I can't seem to find your pc in the list. Is it onboard soundcard? if yes what motherboard does it have? Quote We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. GRANDAD Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 You could try looking at 'MEDION UK CONTACT' and send an e mail question, they may help. If push comes to shove you could fit a new sound card approx £5 on a well known site. Quote
GRANDAD Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 A friend of mine had a simular problem with his MEDION pc after an upgrade OS this is what we found. ---The sound was SIS7012 which in turn was AC'97. This sounds good but I don't have a clue. Having found it on the internet, loaded it onto a disc and went through the device manager to reinstall the driver and yes! it worked - we have lift off and sound.
