I cannot open both snipping tools and photos

I have reseted both Snipping Tool and Photos because i couldn't open my screenshots. Now I can open my photos, but they are opened in Paint. Then, when i tried to go to set Photos as the default app to view pictures, I found out that it is gone. Both Snipping Tool and Photos are still there when i search them on my search bar, but I couldn't open them nor find them in app settings. What should I do?
