Having acquired a new device encountered problems with some network connectivity. The previous device experiences no such problem. I was able to work around this by using a VPN. What's more the VPN only had to be a local device.Further investigation with Wireshark showed that HTTP (TCP port 80) requests were being dropped. The three way handshake doesn't complete. Although the SYN-ACK is received the ACK and subsequent packets are dropped - the remote server continues to retry the SYN-ACK. The client continues to retry the request until the connection is reset.The problem only occurs with glo
