edge browser favorites tool bar?/passwords

I've never used Edge. My chrome browser won't stay open. just crashes. until i reinstall it, Is ther ea way to set a toolbar across the top as Chrome has with most used sites or favoriteshow do i do that?And all my passwords arein chrome. the settings for chrome won't stay open even a second so i can't get at them or figure out how to export them to edge. Is there a workaround.If i reinstall Chrome, will my passwords still be there?thanks
