windows 11 I can’t remember my password or pin

I recently reset my pin for my HP Pavilion laptop. I haven’t used my password for almost two years. I do not have a pin reset option from the Lock Scree, however I do have a password reset option but it is prompting me to insert a USB to reset the password. I do not have what it is asking for, nor have I ever set it up. I reset my Microsoft password hoping that would work, but it has not. Is there any other way I can gain access to my laptop?
