Some folks have experienced touch pad issues with Windows 10 and the Toshiba/Dynabook Satellite C50x series. Reading older posts, no solutions were ever found. The issue is simple. The Function keys F1-F12 are loaded by default as special mode Toshiba function keys. F5 is what enables/disables the touch pad on this laptop. Unfortunately it does not work in special mode with Windows 10. You have to change the Toshiba settings so the F1-F12 keys are in standard mode.
