Guest frankcvc Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 I am running Windows Server Server 2008 Enterprise edition. I was testing the performance alert feature in Reliability and Performance monitor. I was able to create the data collector set, started the task, and created some activities to trigger the alert. However, no data was collected in my data collector set. At the same time I was able to create a performance counter data collector set and it worked as expected. Your help is greatly appreciated. -- Frank
Guest Andy Bee Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 RE: Windows Server 2008 Cannot collect Performnce Alert data I am having the exact same problem. I have a couple 2008 servers, both behave the same way. I also noticed that if I create an Alert Tast with not Alert Action, the thing stops running altogether. Looking for someone who has made this work.... "frankcvc" wrote: > > I am running Windows Server Server 2008 Enterprise edition.
