Headset not playing sound after pausing videos/games

Hey,Bug started after some jury-rigging aux-soldering on a headset (4-wire headset to 3-wire sacrificial 3.5mm; left to left, right to right, power to ground, left mic wire unconnected but taped)Problem is simple:Starting a video with the headset plugged in; no soundStarting a video with headset unplugged, plug in the headset after & confirm headset was plugged in on realtek; sound!I pause video (with headset connected) (youtube, twitch, etc.), when i resume the video there is no sound. Only way to fix it is to unplug headphones again, then plug them back in. Ive tried drivers, troubleshoo
