Check your add/remove programs to see what is your version of Java.

Windows Script 5.7 for Windows XP

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=47809025-d896-482e-a0d6-524e7e844d81&DisplayLang=en

Or try to Save it as Mypage.hta and see if that will help?

Run this command:

sfc /scannow

What your Firewall and the setings for your IE pop-up blocker?

So now you need to install Java with the information I provided from

You've already done Windows Update and installed the Critical patches

up to October 14th? What about some of the updates in the Software

Optional section?

The OP has SP3 and SP3 has a newer version the scripting host than

what is available at that link. Does not apply.

Since you have SP3, let me point you to an update for the Windows

Scripting Host 5.7. It was an update released after SP3 was made

final. Grab it here and try it out:

Yes, I know thank you!

If the Windows Script host was damaged or corrupt or need refershing it can

help in solving the problem.

It will not hurt or damage anything if the OP tried and don't forget it is

5.7 not 5.6!

The other day I suggested you update to Java Runtime Environment (JRE)

6 Update 7 and you did this with no effect. Just yesterday, Java was

updated to Do you have Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 10.

Please visit the link below, download the update, go to Add/Remove

Programs and remove Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 7, and

then install Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 10. Try it.

Yes, I almost feel at this point it is a setting of IE, and not Java

or Windows Scripting Host. Maybe you have some plug-ins or add-ons

loaded onto IE?

Perhaps try this: Control Panel > Internet Options > Security tab,

click Reset All Zones To Default Level, click Apply. On Advanced tab,

click Restore Advanced Settings, click Apply. Close IE7. Maybe as a

precaution, reboot, and try your page again. If it is still broken, it

MUST be your page, not IE. Have you tried it with Firefox 3.0.3 or

another browser???
