Display settings aren't resetting

I turned on the "use 3d display" and now my laptop screen and monitor has a black screen. It flickers for half a second for about 2 minutes before cutting the signal to the monitor and using only my laptop screen using basic display drivers.I tried reinstalling both amd and nvidia drivers( did a clean install and tried DDU as well, did this a couppe of times). But the problem persists, I read a previous post and tried deleting the subkeys from the mentioned paths but that didn't help either. My laptop boots up fine but the moment my monitor is connected it goes black and flickers for once ever
