Still no bitlocker key

My bitlocker key has never been stored in my Microsoft account. After the computer failed and a tech replaced the motherboard, I reinstalled Windows because of that bitlocker lockout. At no point was I ever shown a bitlocker key during either Windows installation (and yes, I do remember the original installation having a big hiccup.) I am still not able to access my bitlocker key on Microsoft. The computer itself greets me with the unique name on my Microsoft account; I do not have any other Microsoft accounts.How can I find my bitlocker key in advance of any new trouble?
