Network Connections

I just noticed this.... in Network Connections, if you change the view to

Details, there's a column titled "Phone # or Host Address".

 

There isn't an IP address shown in that column for the installed NIC. Where

would one edit that information, to put the IP address in there?

I've looked everywhere and didn't it. And Google came up empty.

You can populate the "Phone #" column when configuring a VPN.
