Windows 11 OS will not fully load after updating to 2024.11 update of 24H2

After getting past the login screen, I get a black screen. I was able to open task manager with CTRL-ALT-DEL. Processes shows only Task Manager running under APPS. BACKGROUND PROCESSES shows 66 running. From APP HISTORY, I was able to launch Firefox. I have no task bar, no start menu, no background. I don't know how to launch the troubleshooter because I have no operating system interface I can work with. The Windows key doesn't launch the start menu.
