USB Card Readers no longer recognized

I bought a 3d printer a few months ago and it uses Micro SD cards to print the files. I've had no problems using my USB card readers to transfer the files from my computer to the SD card up until a few weeks ago. Recently my PC has had problems recognizing the card reader so I had to move it from one USB port to another. Now my computer will not recognize any of my 3 card readers (even without a SD card in it). Under device manager it shows "unknown USB device". Windows 10 says the best driver is already installed and I've tried disabling/uninstalling/restarting this device multiple times. Al
