Wrong Windows user- lost all shortcuts after updating BIOS

Hi,I recently updated my BIOS, and when it was done it made me login into an accounts I haven't logged into before. I lost all my shortcuts and files like my notes. Is my Account lost How do I restore my stuff? I did notice that all my download were still on their drives but nothing on my desktop. I looked at the boot order and it seems fine. I tried to sign in another account but it wont let me. I looked though Windows when restarting and their is an option to go back to an old save ( system restore) will that work?Please Help.Enzo
