Guest Vera Noest [MVP] Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Re: unable to login via RDP with the administrator account Which OS is your server running? What is the *exact* text of the error message you get (there are small differences in the messages which can give a hint on the underlying cause of the problem). Have you checked if the administrator account is a member of the Remote Desktop User group on the server (assuming the server runs 2003)? Have you checked the rdp permisssions on the server? Have you checked the "Allow log on through Terminal Services" permission for this account? _________________________________________________________ Vera Noest MCSE, CCEA, Microsoft MVP - Terminal Server TS troubleshooting: http://ts.veranoest.net ___ please respond in newsgroup, NOT by private email ___ "Bishan Kumar" <bkrathee.15@hotmail.com> wrote on 16 okt 2008 in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services: > Hello everybody out there.
