windows 11 Edge not working correctly after update

My pc (windows 11Home) works fine after latest update but I have issues with Edge. It is slow and pages freeze when loading or require a refresh to load correctly. They and the favourites/bookmark sidebar freeze when scrolling as do the web pages. My windows version is 23H2 (OS build 22631.4460) and edge is, 131.0.2903.51 (official build) 64bit. I DO NOT have this problem if I use Chrome browser. The windows update was KB504633 13/112024. Can't be my pc if Chrome browser works ok!
