Trouble access network folder with network Path

Hi, not sure where this one would belong.

 

I have Windows 2003 Server SP2 with XP SP3 client.

 

Created the new user, drive maps work, can access the folder via drive map

but not by using the map path ("//server/folder")

When using the network path the folder doen not show and error message just

a blank folder window.

 

Using an application use the network path for porper functioning.

 

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

You´re using "\\" or "//"?
