How to reconnect display adapter showing error code 45?

I am currently running Windows 10. I have AMD ATI Mobility RADEON 4300 HD series graphics card version 8.970.100.9001. Randomly, my PC switched to Microsoft basic display adapter and when I go to Device manager to see the AMD display adapter, it was hidden away and showed this error "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45) To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer." I can't seem to find a solution to this issue
