How can I do this with either Outlook > or Outlook Express? Two points: 1. This is a Windows XP newsgroup. Questions about Outlook or Outlook Express would be much better asked in a newsgroup devoted to that software. That's where the experts in them hang out. 2. If you sent *me* a message like that, you would quickly become an ex-correspondent of mine. If necessary, I would put you in my killfile. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP - Windows Desktop Experience Please Reply to the Newsgroup

OK. It's their choice, just like it's your choice. My point number 2 below, regardless of who does it, is that whoever does it runs the big risk of irritating people and having them put the sender in their killfile. I'm one of those who it would irritate. > "Ken Blake, MVP" <kblake@this.is.an.invalid.domain> wrote in message > news:0rlef4tbe70djc5m64qv2deqbm2mngukn7@4ax.com... > > On Thu, 16 Oct 2008 08:03:33 -0400, "~~Alan~~" <a.shepro@gmail.com> > > wrote: > > > >> I want to send an email message with an embedded .mp3 file that will > >> start > >> playing when the message is opened. Then you could go and ask this question in one of those groups. Ask elsewhere
